Casey Nickel is the founder of Cupola Consulting, LLC, a firm dedicated to supporting multi-client lobbyists and government affairs professionals with comprehensive management services. With nearly a decade of hands-on experience at the Iowa Capitol, Casey is a recognized expert in Iowa’s policy process and legislative strategy.

After earning her B.A. in Political Science from Simpson College, Casey began her career in Washington, D.C., working for a member of Iowa’s federal delegation. She later returned to Iowa, where she served as director of a law firm’s government affairs practice. Her professional background includes clerking for the now Iowa Senate President, managing political campaigns, and leading a government affairs division—experiences that shaped her deep understanding of the legislative landscape and the needs of advocacy professionals.

Through Cupola Consulting, Casey offers a full suite of services, including bill tracking, bill registrations, daily scheduling, association management, newsletter content creation, event planning, and political action committee (PAC) management. Her innovative practices and procedures help clients streamline operations, enhance deliverables, and achieve strategic goals.
